At the tip of the Cape Peninsula 60km south-west of Cape Town, lies Cape Point, a nature reserve within the Table Mountain National Park; a declared Natural World Heritage Site. From the main parking area there’s a paved path leading up to the historical lighthouse. The last stretch to the peak of Cape Point consists of 120 steps but definitely worth it with fantastic views of the ocean, mountains and scenery. This was taken from the lighthouse at the top looking over False Bay.
