During my trip out to South Africa last year, after we’d spent a week around the Kruger Park and Graskop, we left Mpumalanga and headed back to Johannesburg via the Long Tom Pass. Half way over the pass, we stopped in at a little resort on the side of the road for a coffee break and came across this beautiful tranquil lake in the gardens out back. Behind me, in the coffee house, is a magnificant view overlooking the Long Tom Pass and mountainous slopes that make up this area. Next time I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely be booking in here for a night or two.
