Over the last weekend of October, the clocks went back which ended our daylight savings time and the nice long summer evenings we were just getting used to – a sure sign that winter was on it’s way. Over that weekend, there was a photography meetup group that has organised an event to ‘capture the blue hour’ which I had signed up for. The blue hour is the period of twilight each morning and evening where there is neither full daylight nor complete darkness, and the sky turns into a vibrant shade of blue and still offers some decent light for photographs. We were mainly based around the Millennium Bridge and St. Pauls, and even though it was mainly overcast that day, I still managed to capture a picture of the bridge during the ‘blue hour’.
