During a week long trip down to Cape Town, South Africa in April of 2014, our hotel was directly opposite the harbour, just down the road from the V&A Waterfront. Because of its position along one of the world’s busiest trade routes it is one of the busiest ports in South Africa. We weren’t too affected by the day to day workings of the harbour, but made for some good entertainment watching them load and unload and container ships from our hotel room window.
