This shot was taken last year September in the late afternoon while walking down Venice Beach in California. There was a little bit of haze coming off the ocean, which perfectly broke the contrast between the sea, the hills in the background and the brilliant blue sky. We landed up sitting on the beach for ages enjoying the late afternoon sun and stayed on until the sun eventually set behind the palm trees.
